IQCS Working Forum

Phyllis Macfarlane, Global Training Director of GfK and Vice President of the MRS Main Board, was the guest speaker at our Working Forum on Wednesday 10th June at Quadrangle. Phyllis speake about her recent experience of setting up market research education in Africa on behalf of the GfK Verein (Foundation) and, in particular, developing Accredited Interviewing Training in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana – the highs and the lows, challenges and frustrations.

As well as the usual question time at the end of Phyllis’ talk, we were given the opportunity to raise any issues relating to IQCS Standards, particularly in light of the 2015 inspections which will be commencing in June. Contact Gill

IQCS Awards

This working forum on Wednesday, 10th June also saw the launch of the IQCS Awards and information regarding the award categories and criteria were outlined. Submissions will be invited in September/October, with the awards being presented at a party following the AGM on Thursday 12th November.
