Penny has worked in market research operations since 1987,and in that time has worked in the data collection side of the business on both qual and quant methodologies
She is a Fellow of the MRS, Chair of IQCS and also serves on the Market Research Forum, MRQSA Council and the MRS Company Partner Advisory Board.
In the past Penny has served on the AQR Committee as Field Representative, the MRS Accredited Interviewer Training scheme and the Respondent Interviewer Interface committee
Chris Smith is Kudos Research's Group Director of Field and Data Services. Chris was previously Director of Telephone Operations for Harris Interactive, and has also managed operations at TN, AGB, Millward Brown and IntelliQuest Inc. over the 21 years he has been in the market research industry.

Chris is a full member of the Market Research Society and ESOMAR, Vice Chairman of the Interviewer Quality Control Scheme, and worked with the MRS Respondent Interviewer Interface Committee and Accredited Interviewer Training Scheme to promote and raise industry-wide standards in data collection and interviewer training.
Gill has served on IQCS Council as the User Member for some 10 years, and is Honorary Secretary/Treasurer as well as having overall responsibility for the Working Forums that we run for all IQCS members.

With more than 30 year’s experience in market research, she has always been on the executive side of the business, having worked for RBL/RI, NOP and RSL before joining Marketing Direction. She is involved with both quantitative and qualitative research, using all forms of data collection, as well as Mystery Shopping and international research.
Gill Wareing has been the IQCS Administrator since 1987. Until recently, she has also been Secretary/Treasurer of the Market Research Benevolent Association. This role began when she was with the Market Research Society where she held the position of Assistant Secretary-General and continued when she left the Society due to family commitments.

Gill was with the MRS from 1971 – 1983 where she was concerned with the organisation of the annual conference, lunches, evening meetings and tasks related to the MRS Council and Professional Standards Committee. Her latest industry involvement is as Secretary/Treasurer of the Research Network, the association for retired and longstanding researchers.
Jackie has worked in the industry since 1987. Jackie’s chief role is providing guidance on the myriad pieces of legislation surrounding and affecting market research, from the Data Protection Act itself through to changes in industry guidelines – both in the UK and internationally. Jackie was also a member of the MRQSA Data Processing Committee responsible for reviewing the revised standard before it was re-issued in 2003.
Jackie joined IQCS in 2005 and is a member of the sub committee for future development
Jeremy May Field Manager – Kantar Operations   Jeremy has specialised in Face to Face Field Management since 1996 when he joined BMRB, prior to the formation of Kantar Operations. He has current responsibility for the Face to Face Random Panel within Kantar Operations, which consists of 45 office staff, 30 contracted field supervisors and 750 interviewers.

Jeremy was elected onto IQCS council in December 2005 and is a full MRS member, having successfully completed the MRS intensive professional development scheme in 2004.
Sam has over 20 years experience in market research, encompassing both qual and quant techniques in consumer and business to business markets. Sam has been at QRS since leaving Cram in 1989 and became MD in 1999.
She was elected to IQCS council in 2005.
Jenny has worked in the industry for 20 years, interviewing, supervising, managing telephone centres and developing training and quality issues She has served on IQCS Council for 3 years and sits on the sub committee for future development.
Julia has worked in Market Research for 25 years, first as an Interviewer, then as a Project Controller before getting involved in quality control.

This is her second year on the IQCS Council.  She represents The New Fieldwork Company Ltd which is an independent fieldwork only company, offering mainly quantitative fieldwork interviewing, especially Hall Tests; and qualitative group recruitment.  Julia is currently serving on the Strategy sub-committee that is re-vamping the Website.
Volker has worked in market research for seven years in the UK and in Germany. During this time he has always been heavily involved in the data collection process both interviewers driven and online. In his current role as General Manager he is responsible for RONIN’s UK operations, as well as industry standard counselling, and spearheading QC through all departments.

RONIN is a multi country telephone, panel and online research centre with 100 seats covering over 20 different languages.

Volker is currently serving on the Strategy sub-committee that is responsible for the development and update of the IQCS Website.
