Council Structure

How Council is elected /nominated

Industry Bodies nominate a representative from their Council/ Committee to serve on Council
All other members are elected by the IQCS membership
Each member company has the right to vote in a secret ballot
There is only an election should a vacancy on Council arise
All elected members can serve on Council for 3 years, and then they must either resign or stand for re-election
If there is a vacancy then all member companies are notified and asked if any of their staff wish to stand for election
This is announced at the AGM (normally mid November)
